Thought for the Day:
"The lie you tell today will force you to tell Tomorrow"

Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), the first integrated steel plant in the public sector in India, was set up with German collaboration with an installed capacity of 1 million tonnes. Subsequently, its capacity was enhanced to 1.9 million tonnes.

T
he plant was modernised in the mid-1990s with a number of new units having state-of-the-art facilities. Most of the old units were also revamped for effecting substantial improvement in the quality of products, reducing cost and ensuring cleaner environment. Now it's Production capacity reaches to 4.0 million tonnes after the completion of second modernisation.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was established under the societies registration act on 15th December 1965 with the objective to impart education with the common syllabus to all the children of transferable and non- transferable Central Government employees and also the children of PSUs, institute of higher learnings in collaboration with CBSE.  I am very proud to mention here, the great organization KVS is Celebrating Golden Jubilee year in 2013 after Completion of its 50 years long educational service from its inception i.e. 1963.
